What This Cancellation Policy Covers - This policy covers how
subscribers to 360Village webhosting services, advertisers with listings in the Interactive
Community Guidesm, and subscribers using the Interactive
Community Guidesm as content to enhance their
websites can cancel their respective 360Village services. It does not cover cancellation of any other online
services which may or may not be directly or indirectly related to 360Village services. This includes, but is
not limited to domain name registration services, other firm's website hosting services or other online
advertising and marketing services.
Cancelling a Service Before Your Renewal Date
- If you cancel your 360Village service(s) before the end of the Initial or Renewal Term, your service and access to the service
will be discontinued immediately, and no refund will be provided for any payments you have made.
Check your 360Village services agreement for the length of term of your contractual obligation
with 360Village. For example, webhosting clients may be billed monthly, quarterly or annually. 360Village does not offer prorated refunds
for cancellations occurring prior to the end of the contract period. We will simply not renew your 360Village service(s).
Cancelling a Service After Your Renewal Date
- You must notify 360Village before or within ten calendar days of the Renewal Date on your contract if you wish
to cancel your 360Village service(s). 360Village does not offer prorated refunds for cancellation requests submitted after ten days of the renewal date.
You must notify 360Village in writing via e-mail using our Contact Form or via US Mail addressed to 360Village,
PO BOX 366, Lafayette, CA 94549.
Responsibility for Fees
- Should 360Village suspend a portion, but not all, of your service(s) due to a violation by you of any law, regulation or policy,
you shall remain liable for all fees applicable to the service as a whole. Should 360Village terminate your service, you are liable
for the payment of all fees applicable to the service up to the date of termination or through the end of your contract period,
in addition to any early termination fees (if any).
Contact and Billing Information
- It is your responsibility to keep valid contact and billing information on your account. 360Village will continue to send information
regarding your account in accordance with the contact information you have provided. If you need to update your billing or contact information, please use our
Contact Form or phone us during normal Pacific coast business hours,
Monday through Friday at (925) WEB-2250.
Balance Due
- Please be advised that the cancellation of an account does not release you from financial responsibility.
If your account has a past due balance and you are not eligible for a refund, the 360Village Accounting department will continue collection efforts.
File Storage and Backup
- IMPORTANT: Any and all files on the 360Village server, or server space provided by third-party partner companies of 360Village, will be
inaccessible as soon as 360Village receives your cancellation request. It is your responsibility to back-up and and all files, including but not limited to
any e-mails stored in any e-mail boxes that reside on 360Village or third-party servers, make necessary DNS changes to repoint any domain names to
new webhosting provider's DNS machines and to generally ensure a smooth transition if you are moving your services to another provider and not merely
cancelling your 360Village online services altogether.
No Transfer of Funds Between Accounts
- 360Village does not transfer funds from one account to another for any reason. If you cancel a 360Village service with a balance due and start a new
service, no credit from the pre-existing service account may be used toward the new service(s).
Waiver
- You expressly waive any statutory or other legal protection in conflict with the provisions of this Cancellation Policy.
