- This policy covers how
360Village treats personal information that 360Village collects and receives,
including information related to your past use of 360Village products and
services, including the Interactive Community Guidesm.
Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable
like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not
otherwise publicly available.
- This policy does not apply to the practices of
companies that 360Village does not own or control, or to people that 360Village
does not employ or manage. In addition, certain 360Village associated
organizations or companies such as local chambers of
commerce, have their own privacy statements.
Information Collection and Use
- 360Village collects
personal information when you register for webhosting services or to advertise
with 360Village in the Interactive Community Guidesm, when
you use 360Village services, when your or someone else fills out the
"Tell-a-Friend" feature in the Interactive Community
Guidesm, when you visit 360Village pages or the pages of
certain 360Village partners, and when you enter into any promotions or
sweepstakes. 360Village may combine information about you that we have with
information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
- When you
register for advertising services we ask for information such as your name,
email address, zip code, business name and payment information (i.e., credit
card info). Once you contract with us to become an advertiser or webhosting
client, you are not anonymous to us.
- 360Village collects information about
your transactions with us
- 360Village may receive and record information on
our server logs from your web browser (e.g., Microsoft Internet Explorer),
including your IP address, 360Village cookie(s) information, and the page(s) you
request.
- 360Village may use information for the following general purposes:
to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for
products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and
provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
Information Sharing and
Disclosure
- 360Village does not rent, sell, or share personal
information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to
provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or
under the following circumstances:
- We provide the information to
trusted partners who work on behalf of or with 360Village under confidentiality
agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help
360Village communicate with you about offers from 360Village and our marketing
partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share
this information.
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders,
or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against
legal claims;
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to
investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected
fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any
person, violations of 360Village's terms of use, or as otherwise required by
law.
- We transfer information about you if 360Village is acquired by or
merged with another company. In this event, 360Village will notify you before
information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy

- 360Village may display targeted advertisements based on personal
information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people
who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria -
for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.
- 360Village does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when
you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or
viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will
make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
- 360Village advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks,
insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial
companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).
- 360Village works with vendors, partners, advertisers, and other service
providers in different industries and categories of business. For more

- 360Village may set and access 360Village cookies on your computer.
- 360Village may let other companies show advertisements on some of our pages and set and access their
cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to

have access to 360Village's cookies.
Your Ability to Change Your Account Information and Email

Interactive Community Guidesm, without offering you the opportunity
to opt-out of receiving them.
- You can delete your email address from our mailing lists, such as
the email address provided to 360Village by someone who filled-in the "Tell-a-Friend" form within
the Interactive Community Guidesm by
contacting 360Village Customer Care.
Confidentiality and Security
- We limit access to personal
information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into
contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order
to do their jobs.
- We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards
that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
- 360Village may update this
policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat
personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified
in your 360Village advertiser or webhosting agreement or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
