Interactive Community Guide FAQs
Problems Viewing the Total 360° Images:
If the Total 360° images are not appearing, the computer you are using most likely needs to have
Java Software from Sun Microsystems installed. Java has been around for a decade now and is extremely prevalent across
the Web. Download and install the latest Java Software FREE here »
For more information on Java, how it's used by eBay and thousands of other websites, on wireless phones, etc., read more on the official Java website, Java.com »
*Note: FireFox for Mac users please use version 1.5 or higher.
Controlling a Total 360° Image:
When a Total 360° image finishes loading it will automatically rotate on its own. You can click and drag your mouse pointer all around the
image to move in any direction you'd like, including straight up and down. Click the magnifier icons in the lower left corner to zoom in and out.
How Do I Change to Another Listing?
There is a drop-down menu on the right side of the Guide interface containing a listing of all businesses and area amenities currently in the
Interactive Community Guide sorted by type.
Simply scroll through the drop-down list and click on the listing you'd like to view. If your web
browser has JavaScript enabled, you should immediately be taken to the listing you've selected.
Problems with the Location Maps:
The maps in the Guide are live, interactive Google Maps® and require JavaScript to be enabled. Make sure your web browser is up-to-date with all available patches and bug fixes. For example,
Internet Explorer version 6 plus patches, is the current version of that browser (check Microsoft.com for IE updates).
Controlling the Location Maps:
The Google Maps® used in the Guide are "dragable" so that you can seamlessly scroll in any direction simply by dragging the map around, or you can
click the directional arrows in the upper left corner. To zoom in/out click the +/- buttons just below the four arrows.
For a truly amazing view try
clicking the Satellite or Hybrid buttons to incorporate sateliite imagery into your map.
How Are the Total 360° Images Created?
Each Total 360° image is comprised of two 180° images captured with a digital SLR camera and a fisheye lens. They are
stitched together and then enhanced with Adobe Photoshop® before they are burned into the Total 360° format.
